Dates for your diary.

15 February 2025 14:45

A couple of up and coming events for your busy diary.

Once a quarter through 2025, we are looking to host a session where we will explore and seek to become better informed about the big matters that are going on in the world. This is part of our commitments as Christian disciples to be livelong and whole of life learners.  We're calling this "What in the world is going on?" and the first topic will be "Islam and the Middle East" led by Dr Chris Hewer on Saturday 1st March 2025 from 9.30 to 12.30.

The second is our next study group which will be for Lent 2025. Often we think of Lent as a time to give things up but as finish our tidying up (and out) on Shrove Tuesday (pancake day) we are then freed to to use lent as a time to learn and grow closer to God. This year we will be following a small book of daily readings, with daily reflections on this website from Rev Sean and weekly meetings to share our thoughts and observations of the week that has passed (running Tuesday evening or Wednesday day time). More to follow.

All are welcome to any or all of our activities, so try and carve some time out of your busy diaries to get involved.
